One heck of an NFL day

The last week has been awful for me in terms of sports betting.  Everything that seems to make sense just doesn’t work out.  And to top all that off, the Colts and the Falcons gave me a beating yesterday!  Matt Ryan went into the locker room at half time and came out as Ken Dorsey.  Both the Colts and the Falcons just decided to stop playing in the second half.

But today is a brand new day!  Eagles, check!  Ravens, check!  It was beautiful.  Ed Reed is absolutely amazing.  I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but on the second interception, he was about 10 yards away from the ball when Chad Pennington threw it.  I still have no idea how he got to the ball so fast.

Anyway, great day, great football.

Getting pissed off at the Falcons Cardinals game

WTF?! I can’t believe that I am even watching the same game. The Falcons were playing so well in the first half, and then it looks like Detroit Lions came out of the locker room! Matt Ryan went from almost looking like Peyton Manning into looking like Ryan Leaf!! (Yes, I am totally loving these analogies. LOL!)

There we go again… Matt Ryan had a guy on single coverage and he overthrew him by 2 yards.

Come on Falcons!!

Will the Falcons and Matt Ryan Beat the Cardinals?

I just looked at the last 6 weeks and the Falcons have a good chance to win on the road.   Here’s why:

  1. The Cardinals are playing some bad football.  Out of the last 6 games, they only beat the Rams and the Seahawks.  Both teams are terrible.
  2. Out of the other real competitions, the Cardinals got spanked by the Patriots, Vikings, Eagles, and the Giants.  All playoff teams, well, except for the Patriots but they should’ve been in the playoffs.
  3. On the other hand, the Falcons beat the Vikings, Bucs, Chargers, and even the Panthers in the last 6 games!
  4. Anquan Boldin is questionable, but most likely will play.  How effective is he going to be though?  That’s the question…

Should be close though.  I am hoping for some mad offense and turn this game into a shoot out.
