Rematch in the Bay against Kobe

After the Warriors’ defeat in LA last week, tonight’s game in Oracle Arena was a highly anticipated game for Warriors fans to see their beloved team redeem themselves.

Surprisingly, the Warriors climb back to a 6 point lead in the 3rd qarter after being down 15.  But the Lakers prove to be a 4th quarter team again and finish with a 114-106 win.  It was another edge-of-the-seat game to watch, but after tonight, I wondered if our dream of playoffs this year had gone down the drain - Brandon Wright with a partially dislocated shoulder, Stephen Jackson still injured, Monta Ellis still regretting the summer day he rode his moped.  I really dont think Maggette, Biedrins, and Crawford can carry the weight of our team any further. On a brighter note, 17 of the next 25 games will be played at home.  Let’s keep fighting guys.

The games like tonight are the ones when I realize I miss Baron Davis.

Boston hits the Great Wall

After a ridiculous 19 winning streak, Boston comes home to lose to the Rockets without Tmac - making it the 6th loss of the last 8 games.

Is it just me or does it seem like they’re defensively and emotionally flat?  Seeing them beat the Lakers last season was a savored moment for many Laker haters.  For this season, out of every NBA team, I feel like Boston was the only team capable of taking down LA again this season…until theyre poor performanace on Christmas.  I’d like to see how they perform against the other dominat team of the East on Friday - The Cavaliers who are one less win in the record than Boston.

Another game, another long night for the Warriors

Goodness gracious.  The Warriors need to learn how to shoot in the last 5 to 7 mins of the game. What the hell?!

I swear 3 out of 4 games always end like this: Warriors are winning or tied with about 5 minutes to go.  Then they turn cold.  Ice cold.  Can’t hit anything.  Turn the ball over.  Turn the ball over again.  Miss more shots.  Lose by 10.

I think we were tied at 78 or 81 or something like that, and then boom.  Gasol offensive rebound, little baby hook.  Boom, Gasol rebounds again, another baby hook.

Whatever.  Again, rebuilding year.

Laker’s Sun Yue’s Hot Girlfriend

Yeah yeah yeah, I know this is a little old, but I just ran across this article again.  About 2 months ago, Yahoo Sports reported that Sun Yue’s girlfriend is actually a pretty darn hot  supermodel.  Ok maybe not smoking hot, but she’s definitely cute. Gu Chen, you have my vote!

It’s good to be a Laker, I guess.  Now the only question left is: When is Sun actually going to get some playing time on the Lakers?
