1.6 seconds

Theres not many things you can do in 1.6 seconds, but apparently it was enough time for Jeff Green to hit a 15′ jumper to beat the Warriors by 1.  If you saw that game, it was depressing.

What was more depressing was watching it from the 12th row of the lower level of the Oakland Arena.  Its too late Monta - just sit on the bench and sign autographs.

On a brighter note, I did see Maggette’s nice poster over Kevin Durant up close.  I couldnt find a photo, but this site has a short clip of that.  enjoy.

The second coming of Rod Tidwell!?!?!

“You had me at hello…”
Man, how about them Cardinals?….    WHAT?!?!

At least we can say the 49ers came within a bad fullback dive play from beating the NFC champs.

So the superbowl is coming, how about some trivia?  Name 5 NFL franchises that have never made it to the superbowl.  The Arizona Cardinals were one of the teams.

Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Houston Texans.

Vegas needs a pro sports team!

Ok I’ve been in the lovely Sin City Las Vegas for the last 3 days, and I concluded that they need a professional sports team.  Baseball, basketball, football.  Oh hell, even hockey.  Just give them something.  It will certainly draw more people out here.  Not like we need an excuse to go to Vegas, but this just adds another one to the column.

Speaking of Vegas, yes I bet on the NFL playoff games this week.  And yes, I won.  Ravens and Eagles!  Nice little payout.

Too little too late?

The Warriors finally pick up a win today at home against the Pacers.  And if you saw that game, man it was too gut-wrenchingly close.  It was funny to see ex-Warrior, Mike Dunleavy bet boo’ed everytime he touched the ball.

Crawford finished the game with 32 points, and hit the go-ahead 3 pointer with 11 seconds left.  The Warriors poor defense resulted in Danny Granger’s 42 points!  Honestly glad it was Granger with a big night rather than the ex-Warriors Mike Dunleavy or Troy Murphy.

I realized that this mighty, long-awaited win brought our record to a disappointing 11-28.  With only half of the season left, and the Conference only getting tougher, it might be time to build up our rooks for the next few years before the Warriors see any sort of playoff contention.

Did anyone catch that quick elbow from Belinelli to Granger in the first half?  haha those Italians.
